nonprofit ministry which promotes biblically-based responses to conflict through
the education of Christians and the provision of Christian dispute resolution
services. Continue to serve as conciliator on cases handled by CMC and do

Prior experience: Before entering law school, worked three years as a licensed residential real estate salesperson in Pueblo, CO; five years as an investigator for the District Attorney in Pueblo; five years as a legal secretary in Atlanta, GA, Boulder, CO, and Pueblo, CO, and one year as an elementary school teacher in Boulder, CO. Extensive experience was gained in the volunteer field through serving as President and in other officer positions in Junior League, by participation in various volunteer organizations and in the development of a Rape Crisis Center in Pueblo, CO.

Organizations:
Colorado Collaborative Law Professionals. Was one of founding board members
and served as President on the Board of Directors.
Christian Legal Society, both national and the Denver Metro chapter. Presently
serving on the national CLS Board of Directors. Previously served on the initial
incorporating board of the Denver Metro chapter in various officer positions then
several years as newsletter editor. Presently serving on national organization
board in second term.
Peacemaker Ministries, Inc. Received conciliator training and certification as
well as supervision and continuing mediation/arbitration training under their
Institute for Christian Conciliation. Now serve them as a Mentor for the ICC for
certification candidates and assist in teaching practicums for conciliator training
and on occasion as an appointed mediator or arbitrator.
Colorado Defense Lawyers Association. Served on Board of Directors and as
President 1998-99.
Colorado Bar Association, member since 1987 and member of Family Law
Section since 1999. Presently also member of Arapahoe County Bar Association.
Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church. Member since 1990, previously Deacon and
twice as Ruling Elder (currently serving), served on Presbytery of the West
Ministerial Committee and on a national committee, Board of Pensions.
